Man convicted for breaking municipal safe

The man was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment after he was found guilty of robbery.

Bethal Regional Court sentenced Isaac Tladi (33) on June 30 to 15 years imprisonment after he was found guilty of Robbery.
In 2015, the convict accosted and robbed Bethal Local Municipality offices and broke the safe and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
According to police, there was no information about Tladi after the robbery.

“Members of Mpumalanga Hawks pursued the case and the suspect was later arrested. Through the quality of investigation, the accused is far away from the community and sent to a place where people of his nature deserve to live,” said the police.
