Pedestrian killed at R40 junction to Msholozi

White River police spokesperson says they noticed that both pedestrians and motorists using the R40 were impatient with one another.

WHITE RIVER – A pedestrian was recently killed on the R40 junction while attempting to cross the road to Msholozi.

Sgt Cynthia Mbokodo, spokesperson for White River police confirmed the latest incident. “It was registered at White River police station on June 28 and then transferred to the accident unit,” she said.
“We urge them to obey the rules of the road. Pedestrians should look on both directions of the road and ensure that they are safe before walking. This is a busy road and demands everyone to be responsible,” she added.
