Transnet offers free health services in Mbombela

More than 500 people visited the Phelophepha mobile train clinic in Mbombela

Residents of Mpumalanga are urged to make better usage of the opportunity offered by Transnet and the provincial health department in ensuring that they get their health issues solved at Phelophepha mobile train clinic.

The train, situated at the Mbombela station consists of different clinics divisions such as dentistry, eye clinic and psychology.

The manager of the Phelophepha, Ms Anna Mokwena said this free health services will be available until 14 July.
“With this initiative, we are trying to plough back to the community of Mbombela and surroundings, appreciating their support they give us at Transnet,” she said.

Mokwena said they are also prescribing medication or referring patients to nearby clinics if their conditions are beyond their control.
