White Hazy youth embark on a health walk to celebrate the youth of 1976
The health walk will begin from 07:00 from various sections including the main road near Masoyi Primary, Mshadza Clinic, Numbi clinic, the comprehensive school and KaMajika Sandriver gate.
Tomorrow (Saturday) a locally based Up Up Up Youth Project and other stakeholders will embark on a health walk against the abuse and killing of women and children.
The walk is part of their celebration of the youth of 1976.
Ps Simon Mdluli founder of the organisation invites the youth of White Hazy, Egemu and surroundings to participate in the walk.

“The activity is aimed at uniting all young people from the 13 villages between Mnganduzweni and Nyongane.
We will motivate them to respect each other’s rights and join in the fight against the abuse and killing of women and children.
Participants will also be lectured on different health-awareness topics including drug abuse.
They will also be informed on the importance of making good life choices,” he says.

The day will also honour the role played by the youth of 1976 who took part in the Soweto Uprising which profoundly changed the socio-political landscape of South Africa.
Local heroes like the late Shotie Ngomane, as well as Portia Shabangu, Lele Mohlala and Patric Chamuso all from Game and surrounding areas will be celebrated.
All participants will assemble for the main event at Mahushu station near the Roadway Car Wash.
