“Mec must come personally to take the memorandum”-says association

"If he doesn’t come, it means he doesn’t care about the problems faced by patients at the hospital"

BUSHBUCKRIDGE – Members of the Bushbuckridge Residents Association will hold a peaceful march at Tintswalo hospital.
The secretary of the association, Mr Joe Ndlovu told Mpumalanga News that they are going to hand over a memorandum to the MEC of the department of health, Mr Gillion Mashego pertaining to the poor service at the hospital.

“The reason we’re marching is because we want to demonstrate our dissatisfaction about poor services at the hospital such as lack of doctors, shortage of medicine and malaria testing kit and poor management on dispatching of ambulances and long queues,” he explained.

Ndlovu emphasised that Mashego must put everything aside in his busy schedule and come personally to receive the memorandum.

“We want the MEC to come personally. If he doesn’t come, then it means that he doesn’t care about the people of this area,” he concluded.
The march is expected to start at 11.00 at Ehlanzeni TVET College in Acornhoek
