MBOMBELA – Women in business gathered at the Valencia community hall on Tuesday to share ideas and official launched the Mbombela Women Business Forum.
Speaking to Mpumalanga News the senior manager in transversal at the City of Mbombela Local Municipality Ms Paulina Segage said launching the forum will play a vital role in empowering women who want to make a name for themselves in the business sector.

“We have invited different business state holders to share some of the opportunities that our local business women can grab with both hands and use it wisely to take their business to another level,”said Segage.

The forum will also assist in ensuring that informal business people with skill. “We understand that some of the women don’t have skills but what we are going to do as a municipality is that, we are going to approach different institutions to assist them with training and let me indicate that we are also going to monitor the forum whether they fulfil its mandate as we are going to meet with them quarterly,”she added.
