No glitches during schools re-opening in Mpumalanga

The MEC for Education in Mpumalanga Ms Reginah Mhaule said she is satisfied with the manner in which the re-opening of schools in the 2017 second quarter has commenced.

MBOMBELA – Schools in the province opened on a high note for the second quarter on Tuesday.

“Teaching and learning went very well in almost all schools within the province. To this effect, the Department wishes to extend its appreciation to the school management teams, school governing bodies, teachers, learners and to all stakeholders or individuals who play a meaningful role in the delivery of education in the province,” says Mhaule.

On Tuesday Mhaule visited Rindzane Secondary School and Skapandoda Secondary School in Bushbuckridge where learners displayed their eagerness to start with the process of learning.

 “Teachers were seen to be ready to take the bull by its horns,” she says.

She adds that the department will still monitor Marite Circuit very closely while offering them the required support where possible.
