Christian communities and citizens are urged to pray for the leaders of the country

MBOMBELA – Praying for peace and unity in the country was the theme of a number of churches during the Easter services held over the weekend.
Pastor Raymond Nkambule from Isandla Senkazimulo Zion Church said political leaders are not angels, but are human and Christian communities and citizens must fast and pray and ask for God’s intervention.

“The bible said we must pray for our leaders and we must stop pointing fingers and ask God’s intervention because what is happening in our country these days is a disgrace,” he said.
He added that since the Easter holidays are over, lots of people will be heading back home and it was important also to ask God to control steering wheels of all vehicles that are on the roads because during this time of the year, Satanists need blood for their rituals.
