MBOMBELA – Just a week after the successful launch of the first volume for Mpumalanga Praise its founder, well known gospel sensation, Sipho Makhabane, affectionately known as the Big Fish, proudly showcased his traditional outfits while lifting the flag of the country high through his music in the United Kingdom.

“The people of the UK were just impressed by the bright colours of my Swazi attire, it was a blessed Easter Weekend with them calling for more enchoes of my old songs including ‘Yek’ Intokozo, Zawa Indonga , There is a race, Vusowakho Umsebenzi and Ebenezer’

“Referring to my attire they called me the Swazi boy” says Makhabane.
On Sunday he got the opportunity of watching Chelsea failing to produce a shot on target in the Premier League match for the first time in a decade, losing 2-0 to Manchester United.
On Monday,Makhabane enjoyed a tour to London. He is expected to fly back to South Africa on Tuesday.
On a separate note thousands members of The Alliance Church of Southern Africa who attended this year’s Easter Convention in Witbank witnessed the ordination of Bishop Veli Lucas Luphoko of the Machadodorp branch.
