Easter road safety campaign officially launched

Motorists that will flout road safety regulations will certainly face the music

MBOMBELA- A series of road blocks will be a daily thing in some of the busy roads in the province during this Easter holiday.
This was revealed by the MEC for community safety, security and liaison, Mr Pat Ngomane today at the official launch of the Road Easter Campaign held at Mbombela Stadium.

“We are going to conduct road blocks, especially in some of the busy roads in the province which includes R23, N4 and R40, just to mention a few.

Excessive speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious problem that needs serious attention as it has been identified among the main causes of road accidents on our roads,” said Ngomane.
