Mpumalanga Praise finally launched in Mbombela

Provincial and nationally-acclaimed artists including Donny Ngwenyama, Sicelo Khoza, Phindile Phoku, Thina Zungu, Ps Lucky Gamede, Thobekile, affectionately known as Sidudla sase Thekwini, left the attendees gasping for more echoes at the Church on The Hill.

The past weekend saw the launch of Mpumalanga Praise at the almost fully packed Church on The Hill.

Gospel music lovers from all walks of the province worshipped and danced the night away to the melodious voices of Mpumalanga Praise and their founder Sipho Makhabane.

Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group together with Phethile Simelane from the Swazi Kingdom also left the attendees on their toes .

Mpumalanga Praise is a praise and worship group consisting of young talented artists from different parts of the province. It was founded by nationally known musician, Sipho Makhabane.

Makhabane thanked the people of the province for supporting his vision in making his dream of having a gospel group to match the likes of Joyous Celebration from the province.

He says his aim was to gather unemployed talented youth and help them create job opportunities in the music industry using their Godly anointed voices.

He also asked for churches to continue praying for the youth of the province against the use of drugs and teenage pregnancy.

Pienaar born artist Surprise Mngwenya and Phindile Phoku from Kanyamazane.

“The devil is a liar, asinawudlalwa ngu Sathane, we have to stand united in prayers against the use of drugs amongst our youth and other bad behaviours,” he said.
