MBOMBELA – Women from different parts of the province gathered at Nutting House Guest Lodge yesterday to attend the Economic Empowerment Workshop for Women hosted by Ehlanzeni District Municipality.
The aim of the gathering is to give women a platform to exchange ideas that can empower themselves and live a better life.

Ms Happiness Nkosi from the traversal unit in the municipality said it’s an honour to host the workshop this month because in March we celebrate International Women’s Day.
“As women, we must learn to support each other and do away with the pull her down syndrome. It’s not a secret that women are capable. As women we must get to use every tool to contribute positively in society,” she said.
Today the executive mayor of the district municipality, Cllr Jester Sidell is expected to deliver the keynote address and officially launch the Ehlanzeni Women’s Network.
