Today marks the 8th day of limited interruptions in eMalahleni and Msukaligwa Municipalities due to non-payment.
Eskom has decided to suspend the supply interruptions with immediate effect until March 3. This gesture will allow the defaulting municipalities some time to remedy the breach and also bring some normality to the affected communities.

However, Eskom reserves the rights to continue with the interruptions following adequate notice to the communities.
