The organisation says this murder and many others, once again highlights the desperate need for Rural Safety Units in Mpumalanga.
“Rural safety is critically important to food security, job security, and sustainable agricultural growth,” says the organisation.
They further say the agriculture industry is critical to develop and transfer skills to the lost generation in the province.
“We cannot continue with the current status quo when it comes to crime. These criminals must be stopped in their tracks and justice must be done.”
