EFF leader off the hook

The case of inciting violence against EFF leader in Mpumalanga, Collen Sedibe, and his co-accused, Cyril Chuene, has been struck off the roll in the White River Magistrate court on Monday.

MBOMBELA – The state prosecutor, Mr Thabo Nkosi, told Magistrate, Ms Winnie Baloyi, that there was not enough evidence that shows EFF caused violence, and for that reason he found no case against them. Speaking to Mpumalanga News, Sedibe said he knew from the start that there was no case against them, instead these were means by the police and the provincial government to silence them.

“We will start where we ended with our mission of taking the land and give it to our people, we will not be intimidated by anyone. We are also planning to persuade the provincial government for civil claims,” said Sedibe.
