Hawks arrest four suspects following farm murder

This follows after the family was gruesomely killed in the early hours of Tuesday morning, February 14.

Four suspects were arrested yesterday following their involvement in a family murder in Modderbult Farm.
According to Hawks’ Lieutenant Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the suspects appeared in court yesterday.
Two suspects were arrested later on the same day, however, one of them was placed under police guard in hospital.

A manhunt was launched which led to the family’s vehicle, a Toyota Prado, that was spotted in Balfour with the assistance of a tracker. When police approached the vehicle, the suspects opened fire and SAPS retaliated. One of the suspects was shot and wounded while another fled the scene.
