Elderly man sentenced for rape.

TONGA – A 72-year-old man, Antonio Hlahla of Block B Trust has been sentenced to 40 years imprisonment for raping a 10-year-old girl.
It was in 2013 when the old man forced himself onto the innocent young girl. The girl informed her mother of the ordeal, and the mother then reported the matter to the police. A case of rape was opened at Tonga SAPS and the old man was arrested.
On Wednesday at the regional court in Tonga, Magistrate Edgar Moletsane imposed a hefty sentence on the old man. Brigadier Velisiwe Mdaka, the Station Commander welcomed the sentence and she commended Sgt Jacky Hlebelo for his dedication in investigating rape cases.
