Former mayor’s memorial service to be held today
Affectionately known as Mam Letta, the stalwart met her death last week and will be laid to rest this weekend.
MBOMBELA- Former Ehlanzeni District Municipality executive mayor, Letta Shongwe’s memorial service will be held at today.
The memorial service will be held at the AGS Communio Church in West Acres at 12.00.
Her funeral will be on Saturday at Mbombela Stadium. At the time of her death she was the provincial chairperson of the African National Congress and a Member of the Mayoral Committee(MMC) for water and sanitation at at the City of Mbombela Local Municipality.
