94-year-old pensioner falls victim to rape
She further alleges that after the suspect took it, he forced her to undress, raped her and fled on foot.
PIENAAR- A 94-year-old granny was left traumatised after she was raped by an unknown man in her house at the crack of dawn on Sunday.
According to the victim, she was asleep when the man woke her up, strangled her and demanded money. She showed him an undisclosed amount of cash she had hidden in a pillow case.

She further alleges that after the suspect took it, he forced her to undress, raped her and fled on foot.
The victim is still puzzled as to how the suspect gained entry into her house, as the windows and doors were properly secured.
The neighbours heard screams coming from her house.

Upon investigation, they found her lying helplessly on the bed.
Spokesperson for the local police station, Lt Jabu Ndubane, confirmed the incident and stated that at this stage no arrest has been made.
“The suspect is still at large and a case of rape and robbery has been opened,” said Ndubane.
She warned women to be cautious and to avoid walking alone in secluded areas at night.
