MEC Gillion Mashego has valued winners of the MEC s’ Annual Excellence Awards .
The awards took place yesterday at Nutting House Conference Centre. The winners comprised of the Best Performing Hospital, Ideal Clinic, National Core Standards (Six Priority Areas), District best performance on MDG and NSDA,Finance Management, Best District, Best Hospital, Best performing employees and Long Service Awards.
MEC Mashego was accompanied by Members of Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, the Portfolio Committee Members , the Head of Health Department Dr Savera Mohangi, Acting DDG Clinical Ms Sipho Motau, HAST Chief Director Ms Idah Makwetla and Acting PHC Chief director MS Duduzile Mdluli when he applauded winners and encourage those who did not win at the event. “Those who did not get anything we know that you are dedicated in your work, please continue to do more, and put more effort in your work so that next time you will be honoured as well.

He further went on to say “It is fulfilling to see Health Professionals that complies with the National Core standards in the provision of Health Care Service, and to have Health facilities that Meet the National ideal clinic status with required national performance, as well to have health workers that have served the department, with dedication and professionalism in displaying an obligation in the best interest of their patients, this shows that as a department we are heading, to a right direction in advancing Health service in the Province,” said Mashego.
