PIENAAR – About 46 people were arrested for various cases during the Operation Back to Basics which aims to fight against crime during the festive season.

This publication learnt that 18 people were arrested for drinking and driving, 25 for possession of dagga, two arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and one arrested for drug dealing.

The Cluster Commander, Maj Gen Elias Dlamini sent a stern warning to all that are involved in criminal activities that they will be arrested and applauded the members for their commitment in fighting crime in this area.
