Do you hope to be the beauty who will win the Crowning Miss Mpumalanga? If your answer is yes, then don't miss the auditions today at the Chill Pepper Boutique Hotel at Riverside.

MBOMBELA –  This is the seventh chapter of this prestigious beauty pageant which has produced successful queens since its inception in 2011.

The inaugural queen was none other than Mpumi Lephoko who was followed by Lungile Libambo in 2012.
The current Miss South Africa, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, was crowned in 2013 and was followed by Natasha Dos Santos in 2014. Standerton lass, Zamanene Nene won in 2015.

The reigning queen, has successfully filled the big shoes of her predecessors. She is both an ambassador of the Mpumalanga Gambling Board, principal sponsors, and the Zazi – Know your strength HIV/Aids campaign, which targets girls from the age of 12 to 24 across the province.

In prompting girls to attend the auditions, Elaine said, “I can safely say to enthusiasts, that they can now enter. What’s most important is that you should be original because if not, you will be caught out in the string of interviews with the judges. If you’re beautiful, brainy and knowledgeable on a number of issues that affect communities, then you have a chance of making it to the finals.

Who knows, you may even be the ultimate winner. “All of that comes through consistency and continuous research. Your political, social and educational scope should be broad. Do not be nervous when you face the judges, just remember they are only human,” she said.
