MBOMBELA – Motorists were up in arms against taxi drivers who are allegedly causing chaos on your way to the main taxi rank in the city.
Mpumalanga News learnt that since yesterday afternoon, motorists are having difficulty driving from Alroe Park to the taxi rank to towards the SABC/building.

Some of the motorists blamed the City of Mbombela traffic officers by not intervening and control traffic.
One of the furious motorists, Mr Samkelo Mpilane said “We are fed up with the attitude of the taxi drivers. They caused a traffic jam and the worst part is that they are not operating in the main taxi rank, but have moved into town, blockading the streets. Where are the traffic officers to control this mess? They are not doing their job, the only thing that they are are good at is accepting bribes.

“We witnessed a traffic officers vehicle which passed by, but they did not do anything. Something must be done before things get out of control. It’s festive season, we can’t deal and tolerate this madness,” he said.
