Police officers to clamp down on crime during the festive season

MBOMBELA – Traffic volumes are expected to increase as festive season is around the corner and crime is also escalating during this time of the year.

Mpumalanga News learnt that men and women in blue uniform will up their game during this time as the provincial commissioner, Lt Gen Mondli Zuma said they are geared and ready for the festive season.

“We are more than ready for the festive season. Police officers in all the spheres of the province will be conducting road blocks and operations such as stop and search. Even in our ports of entry alufakwa lubuya nodaka, security will be tight,” he said.
