The MEC for community,safety, security and liaison, Mr Petrus Ngomane made that call yesterday at the MEC’s Excellence Awards that was held at Elangeni Lodge.

Delivering his keynote address, Ngomane said the awards is part of motivating the police and encouraged those who don’t take their jobs seriously, to pull up their socks.
“We are here to honour those who are doing justice to the community at large, at the same time, we are saying to those who are too relaxed in terms of doing their job properly, they must shake up,” said Ngomane.
