Gospel giants’ good work is appreciated

The co-founder of MGOMA, Sandile Ngobe, thanked all local musicians and media houses for their valued support.

MBOMBELA – Provincial giants in the gospel-music industry received certificates of appreciation and trophies for their valued support to the Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards (MGOMA) since its inception two years ago.

The event was on Friday night at Dream South during the MGOMA’s
2016 nominee’s announcement and appreciation day.

Music legends like Donny Ngwenyama, Past Anderson Matsane, Goodman Mgibe, Past Eleck Matsebula and Amaziyoni ase Galile, were honoured with certificates of appreciation for spreading the Word of God in song and supporting this event.

One of the newcomers, Barberton based Thembi Mathebula, who
received certificates for the best newcomer and best song composer
said, “I’m so excited with the appreciation, it means a lot. We
thank God for the organisers and sponsors.”

Hloni Thabethe, managing director of Ndalo Hotel which had been sponsoring the event since 2014, said they were pleased to assist spreading the good work of the Lord.

“We will continue to sponsor anything that gives praise to God, we just love it.”

The co-founder of MGOMA, Sandile Ngobe, thanked all local musicians

“We hope and believe that on December 4 the nominees will raise the flag of the Rising Sun higher. Let everyone continue to
vote for their favourite artist by SMSing the name of the category, and artist to 34605,” said Ngobe.

According to him, there was a significant increase in the number of newcomers at this year’s event.

The 2016 MGOMA will be held on December 4 at the Communo
City Changers at I’langa Mall.
