Suspended EFF secretary pays up

Skhosana was suspended early this month after he failed to comply with the 50 per cent party levy.

MBOMBELA – Although it has been almost a month since Economic Freedom Fighters Mpumalanga secretary, Alfred Skhosana has been suspended from the party, he has finally paid his party dues this month.

Skhosana was suspended early this month after he failed to comply with the 50 per cent party levy which was planned to run for three months after the elections.

All 86 councilors in the province will be expected to pay 10 per cent after the three months have elapsed. It was reported that he reversed the bank transaction after the party debited half of his salary from his account.

Skhosana appeared before the disciplinary committee chaired by Adv Dali Mpofu on September 12 at the party’s headquarters in Johannesburg and is still waiting for the verdict. In the meantime, the deputy secretary is acting in his position.
