Nyarenda joins local beauty queen in Lebanon

Renowned events management company owner and organiser of the inaugural Miss Tourism Universe South Africa, Ms Gugu Nyarenda, jetted off on Tuesday evening to Beirut, Lebanon to witness her protégé compete on the international stage against the best in the world this coming Saturday.

MBOMBELA – Amahle Ngaleka, the inaugural South African queen, carries the hopes of the country as she struts her stuff on Saturday as one of 26 finalists.

Nyarenda was accompanied by her business partner and sister, Ms Ncobile Nyarenda, She said “I’m very optimistic that Amahle will secure a place on Saturday, that will be an honour on its own. Who knows, she’s capable of achieving anything, as she sprung the same surprise in July when she clinched the crown in South Africa.

“What’s gratifying for me, is that I’ve succeeded in making a young woman’s dreams come true. She’s the South African queen and she’s been in Lebanon for the past two weeks to prepare for the final event. When she returns, she’ll still be the South African queen and she’ll get down to more tourism promotion.
“With God on our side, good things will emerge on Saturday, we all need to pray for the best,” she concluded.
