Mec vows to uproot corrupt police officers

MASOYI – Expectations are very high for the MEC for community safety, security and liaison, Mr Pat Ngomane since residents of this area no longer have faith in the local police.
This comes after the residents cried out to Ngomane during the Crime Imbizo that was held on Saturday at Bhekiswayo. They said that police are no longer doing justice to the community as they are alleged to be working with criminals.
Delivering his keynote address he said “This gathering comes at a time where as a department we have discovered that crimes such as rape, armed robbery is escalating in this area. We need to unite so that we can win this battle.
