It all started about four months ago when a group of friends met and braaied fish in the open. After realising there was nothing to do on Sunday afternoons, they opted to braai fish at the Old Park. They have since been joined by many others, both young and old.
One of the founders, Mr Mduduzi Khanyile, said the social group is aimed at bringing amajitha (young men) together to socialise while snacking on fish.

The group now has 35 members who contribute R100 monthly. Only R500 is spent on fish and other ingredients needed for the braai. They rest of the money is kept by their treasury. The group has even attracted people from as far as Nkomazi and KaNyamazane. Members are in the process of acquiring special T-shirts to be worn at their Sunday meetings.
