Families to benefit from new houses
Bereka Mosadi is an organisation founded by a group of local women, that aims to assist needy families in the villages near Hazyview.
SHABALALA – A non-profit organisation (NPO) will host a fund-raising event for the needy in the area.
Bereka Mosadi is an organisation founded by a group of local women, that aims to assist needy families in the villages near Hazyview.
They have identified five families that need houses. Their plan is to build and furnish the houses for the families before the end of the year.
Ms Zanele Cossa, chairperson of the organisation said, “As women we saw the need for houses for our people. We want to improve their living conditions.
“We therefore call on good Samaritans and business people to come out in numbers to donate whatever they have. All donations collected during our fund-raising event will be divided equally among the identified families,” she added.
The event will be held on September 3 at the Hosana Christian Church. Entry fee will be R150, including food and entertainment. The theme for the day is “Bring back their dignity
