DELMAS – A pregnant woman and three children were among 10 others who were injured last night.
Fifty RDP houses were blown away by a severe hailstorm in Botleng Extension 5 (N12), at Victor Khanye Local Municipality.
“The injured were rushed to the local Bernice Samuel Hospital for treatment,” explains
Ms Sentebaleng Masemola, the municipality’s spokesperson.

She adds that the municipality has intervened by providing temporary shelter as a short-term intervention to accommodate the affected families.
The executive mayor, Cllr Evah Makhabane and local councillors also distributed food parcels to the victims.
