MEC warns dagga smugglers at TB hospital
"They are not doing justice to the department of health, instead they are killing the patients," .
BARBERTON – MEC for health, Mr Gilleon Mashego raised a serious concern about patients at the local TB hospital who allegedly smoke dagga.
Interacting with patients in the wards during the handing over ceremony of TV sets at the local TB hospital last Thursday, Mashego said that there are people who are smuggling dagga into the institutions.
He said that has a bad impact on the patients’ health.
“We, as a department, are going to investigate this matter further and those who are allegedly smuggling dagga into the institution they are not doing justice to the department of health, instead they are killing the patients,” alluded Mashego.
