Smart student needs your support

Everything changed when she lost her stepfather not so long ago, and her mother is not able to continue where he left off.

MATSULU – In a world where education opens a number of doors and unlocks many opportunities, all Gabisile Ngobeni wants is an opportunity to be in possession of a qualification, whatever it takes.

The 24-year-old is currently doing her third year in bachelor of science in information technology at the Computer Training Institution (CTI) Education Group in Mbombela.

Gabi says although her results are great, without receiving financial assistance, she will not be able to realise her objective to complete the course.

“Everything changed when I lost my stepfather not so long ago, and my mother is not able to continue where he left off.

I come from a background full of struggles, I am determined to get my education in order so I can bring change to the drastic situation at home. These funds are the only obstacle on my way right now,” said Gabisile.

Studying information technology obviously requires one to have the right equipment in order to do well with computing, but Gabi didn’t have that advantage.

“I am currently doing my third year, and I can attest to anyone that God is just amazing. I have had to do programming and get the codes right without using a computer for the past two years, it’s tougher now, I really need a laptop to help me work,” she added.

This smart young woman requires about R90 000 to help her complete her course, and pleads to any good Samaritan to come through and help make a difference in hers and her family’s life. To help Gabisile realise her dream, contact 013-754-1713.
