Learners to get access to clean water

BARBERTON – In order to ensure uninterrupted teaching and learning in schools in this area due to water crisis, the Umjindi Local Municipality(ULM) has donated water tankers in all the schools.
Speaking to Mpumalanga News, the executive mayor of the municipality, Cllr Lazarus Mashaba said:

“We don’t want our children to be stressed when nature calls since we are experiencing water crises due to drought.

We have donated Jojo tankers in all the schools in our township, even in farm schools.
“Let me state that the tankers are also going to benefit community members who are not far away from the local schools, they must feel free to fetch water there,” he said.
