Man killed and throat cut off

PIENAAR – Slowly but surely this township is becoming a no-go area for the community members because of the senseless killings that are on the increase.

In bizarre incident, a man estimated to be in his early 20s, had his throat slit at Tinkukhwini section.
Mr Vusimuzi “Mphimbo” Nkosi, was looking forward to meeting his family after he had served a two-year prison sentence.

After visiting a friend, his lifeless body was found lying on the ground. It’s alleged that he was involved in an argument with the friend.

The spokesperson of local police, Lt Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident and said, “We have arrested the friend of the deceased. We also discovered that the suspect had a fight with the deceased, but the investigation is on going”.

The suspect is expected to make his brief appearance in the Kabokweni magistrate court on charges of murder.
This publication also learnt that information at the police’s disposal also indicated that Nkosi was previously released on parole and he was sent back to jail after he violated his parole.

Its president, Ms Thembsie Mchunu broke down in tears during our interview as she was overcome by emotions.
