MBOMBELA – In a bid to reduce road accidents, the department of safety and security and driving schools represented by their associations signed a n agreement on regulation of driving schools .
The MEC responsible for this department, Mr Vusi Shongwe said this drive will help combat the many road accidents in the province.
This agreement will see government regulate driving schools.
This move was welcomed by the different driving schools associations.
“Driving schools owners who will fail to comply will have to leave the industry because as a department we are determined to do away with corruption and also reduce accidents,”said Shongwe.
