BARBERTON – A 30 year old man has been arrested after he was found with dagga at Barberton Correctional Services Centre. He is expected to appear in the local Magistrate Court tomorrow.
The spokesperson of the Barberton facility, Mr Mesia Hlongwane said, “We confiscated the dagga from an official who is working at our institution.

The official is not an employee of the department of correctional services, but he is employed by a company which is contracted to operate the boiler machine at our facilities.”
He added that they usually search people who enter their premises to ensure that they don’t bring unwanted items to the facility.
