Malubane village officially gets lights

A total of 1350 households are beneficiaries of the project and were officially switched on.

MKHUHLU –True to her promise, Minister of Public Enterprise Lynn Brown returned to the community of Malubane village in Bushbuckridge to address the backlog in service delivery.

Thursday (April 15, 2016), was the official day of activating the Malubane Electrification Project by Eskom, with Brown doing a door-to-door hand over briefing to five identified houses.

A total of 1350 households are beneficiaries of the project and were officially switched on.
The community was delighted over the swift response by the minister and they stated that they were not contented with utilizing izinyokanyoka (illegal power connections) as it posed danger to humand and their livestock animals.
