MBOMBELA – A middle aged woman collapsed from the Mpumalanga Deeds Office in the City of Mbombela after being shouted at by her manager.
It is alleged that the manager shouted and harassed the woman in front of other employees and she immediately collapsed.
An ambulance was called to rush her to hospital. Chaos then erupted as other employees went on rampage refusing to go back to work citing that it was not the first time the manager in question has harassed staff members.
“This has been going on for quite some time. This morning the official harassed a female employee in front of other employees and she collapsed. She had been rushed to the hospital as we speak,” said one employee.
Other employees added that the manager’s behaviour was even reported to their head office. “We had raised more than ten complaints about the behaviour of this manager, that he is not treating employees well , but nothing has been done so far,” added another employee.
