Voting registration went smooth

Many young people went to the stations but not to register but to observe from the distance.

BARBERTON – Citizens from different spheres of the country visited their voting stations to check their names, register and update their details on the voters roll.
This publication visited different stations around this area and surroundings where registration processes were going smooth but slow.
Towards closing times, majority of senior citizens started coming to the stations to register and update their information with the IEC.
Notably, was the lack of interest shown by young people who were seen relaxing.

Many young people went to the stations but not to register but to observe from the distance.
One of them said,“Why do we need to vote? Our vote is not heard, we are struggling to get decent jobs and our parents are also struggling to get their RDP houses.”
