The police touch lives of needy learners

According to Capt Sherly Ngomane, the spokesperson for the local police the two identified learners needed help and they happened to be at the right place at the right time

KABOKWENI – Local police are not only focused on the fight against crime, but also determined to touch lives and make a difference in other people’s lives, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Mpumalanga News has learnt that during a school safety program, the local police identified two learners at Selegan Secondary School who were in need of food and school uniform.
According to Capt Sherly Ngomane, the spokesperson for the local police the two identified learners needed help and they happened to be at the right place at the right time.
“With the intervention of the crime prevention unit members on duty and other officials we managed to come to the space and donated food parcels and clothes,”said Ngomane.
