DA to welcome over a hundred of ANC members in Mashishing

According to the DA's media statement these ex-ANC members have lost hope and trust in the ANC leadership in the province.

MBOMBELA- The leader of the Democratic Alliance in Mpumalanga, Mr James Masango, is expecting to welcome over a hundred ANC members from Mashishing into the DA this coming Sunday.

According to Masango these ex-ANC members have lost hope and trust in the ANC leadership in the province. “This is not surprising, taking into account that it is the chairperson David Mabuza who cannot provide proper leadership to his comrades,” he said.

“This week, it has been widely reported on how there is fighting amongst ANC members, in order to be recognized and be given positions within the party. It is a known fact that relations between ANC comrades in Mpumalanga have been frosty for many years and the exodus of these members will increase as they see through the ANC’s unscrupulous ways of dealing with issues affecting the people of the province,” states the media release.

Masango will be accompanied by the political head for Thaba Chweu constituency, Mr Farhard Essack who is also a member of parliament and several other local DA councilors.
