The teams that performed exceptionally well were awarded trophies and medals as a way of motivating them before the kick-start of the Ehlanzeni Basketball league that is expected to officially start next month.
Mpumlanag News learnt that the Kanyamazane Slum Lords left spectators speechless with their good performance as they managed to obtain the first position by 18 points, followed by Daanjie Shooters in 2nd position with 16 and the Barberton Club occupied the 3rd position by 15 points.
Speaking to this publication, the chairperson of the league, Swekie Mlombo said:
“The tournament was up to standard, it shows the league will excel we are really looking forward to it.“
