BARBERTON – Deputy president of the ANC youth league, Mr Desmond Moela urged young people to be focussed and use every opportunity that the government offered them to better their lives.
He indicated that during the youth league’s consultation with the people that was recently held at Cathville hall.
”This area has a lot of miners and we believe that as young people, you must benefit from those mines in terms of getting employment.
Previously, the youth league handed over numerous memorandums to different mines where we indicated that 40% must be given to local young people to better their lives.
I think that it is about time that we need to revisit those mines to check how far they are in terms of responding to our memorandum and implementing the things that we want as young people,“ said Moela.
