Mabuza of Mabuza Bar dies

“Mabuza was wise enough to train people that would take care of the business in his absence. His two wives have been running the business for some time now, I have no doubt that they will make him proud."

TONGA – Founder and owner of the popular pub in the area, KaMabuza Bar, Mr James Mabuza, has passed on. Mabuza succumbed to a short illness on Wednesday morning and is succeeded by two wives, 11 children, and three grandchildren.

The family has confirmed that the memorial service will be held tomorrow at Mabuza Bar in Tonga, starting at 15h00.

“We invite the community to come and help us celebrate a life well-lived. Mabuza was a man for the people; therefore we know that the same people he lived his life with would want to be part of his memorial service. The sendoff will be on Sunday, from his home at Block C, to Naas graveyard at 8h00,” said Jeffrey ‘Maseko’ Nkosi, family member and business partner.

Maseko went on to give assurance that the business will not suffer setback as a result of this dark cloud.

“Mabuza was wise enough to train people that would take care of the business in his absence. His two wives have been running the business for some time now, I have no doubt that they will make him proud.

“We cannot deny that we have suffered a great loss, this is a huge blow, but we find solace in God in our darkest hour,” concluded Maseko.
Mpumalanga News sends heartfelt condolences to the Mabuza family.
