Two women found dead around Mbombela

In both incidents no one has been arrested and post-mortems will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death

Mbombela – Mpumalanga police are looking for information that will help in their investigation of two women bodies which were discovered in separate incidents on Friday morning.

First to be discovered was the partially decomposed body of a 39-year-old woman at a farm in Karino near Mbombela.
“The victim’s body was spotted by an on duty farm employee who summoned police, who found the body covered with branches. It was also discovered that the victim had been reported missing on the previous weekend,” explained Sgt Gerald Sedibe, police spokesperson.
“The second body was spotted by a passer-by in the bushes at Alroe Park in Mbombela, who then alerted the police. The half-naked body of the victim estimated to be in her early thirties had stab wounds,” he said.
Sedibe explained that no arrests had been made from both incidents and post-mortems will be conducted to determine the exact cause of their death. Police are appealing to any person with information to contact Lieutenant Colonel Erard Stroh at 082 303 9658.
