It’s foot on the pedal for Aces

The Ajax game will conclude Aces' 2015 season and their first fixture of the new year will be a home match against Polokwane City on January 9.

There will be no Christmas break for Mpumalanga Black Aces players as they will be training throughout the festive season.
Head coach, Muhsin Ertugral has made his intentions clear of turning the team into a powerhouse and is not about to take his foot off the pedal.

AmaZayoni who started this season’s campaign terrifically well with eight unbeaten games, are intent on keeping up the pressure on their rivals in order to finish the season as high as possible.
Aces’ unbeaten run was even more impressive given they had finished last season unbeaten in their last five games.

Despite losing three in a row, Aces have recovered well and are again unbeaten in their last two outings where they registered fine wins over Jomo Cosmos and Bloemfontein Celtic.
The players, who returned from a few days off, are rearing to get their season going again, although they will have to wait until next Saturday, December 19 when they take on Ajax Cape Town in Mbombela.
Ertugral has lined up some tough friendlies ahead of Ajax, including a game against Kaizer Chiefs on Friday, Orlando Pirates and another match against their Reserve Diski team on Saturday.
Aces beat Free State Stars 4-1 in another friendly in Johannesburg.

Ajax who have to play catch-up after their games were postponed due to the passing of Cecil Lolo, have four players in the u/23 national team that is participating in the Afcon 2015 in Senegal.
The Ajax game will conclude Aces’ 2015 season and their first fixture of the new year will be a home match against Polokwane City on January 9.

With the schedule so tight, Aces will train throughout the festive season although they will have three days off over Christmas and another three days over New Year.
