Mbombela and MEFOCES partner to nurture business community

“A metropolitan municipality of Mbombela’s stature will soon enter the global economic market, hence this seminar is the beginning of more such seminars to be held on these shores,”

A wise man once said: “if you don’t build your dream, someone will hire you to help build theirs”.

In the case of the Mbombela Blazing Entrepreneurs Seminar that will be hosted on December 5, 2015, the main objective is to help build dreams of budding entrepreneurs, both young and old, including SMME’s within the Mbombela Local Municipality.

This is a joint venture by Mbombela Local Municipality, Mefoces Foundation and the Young Professional Entrepreneurs, whose main aim is to nurture budding entrepreurs and other professional businesspeople into the finer art of developing their business concerns that will catapult them to being worthy contributors to province’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and eventually to reach national and international status.

According to event organizer, Mr Emmanuel Maema, CEO of Mefoces Foundation, the purpose of the seminar is to incorporate entrepreneurial skills to young people in the Mbombela.

“We’re targeting the young and unemployed who have a passion for business and want to run their own businesses one day.

“The seminar is open to those that have business ideas, and are in need of funding and are willing to grow in the sector.

It will also incorporate young entrepreneurs who are already in business, but lack business development and those who are doing well in their businesses are also welcome,” he added.

Maema mentions that there are some entrepreneurs who need in depth training and business training to improve their businesses.

“I am very passionate about young budding business owners, hence the need for this initiative.

Mbombela Local Municipality will soon be transformed into a Metropolitan Municipality, hence on the business front it should be in a position to have a well developed business community that will deal with expected high number of investors that are set to set base in Mbombela.

“A metropolitan municipality of Mbombela’s stature will soon enter the global economic market, hence this seminar is the beginning of more such seminars to be held on these shores,” says Maema.

The seminar takes place at the Mbombela Stadium’s Club Lounge. For more information, Emmanuel Maema can be contacted on 0817985610and also on his email address: info@uppermedia.co.za.
