KABOKWENI – The newly elected leader of the DA, Mr Mmusi Maimane got close and personal with citizens of the province in different areas around the province over the past weekend.
Maimane interacted with residents through door to door campaigns and public meetings which all formed part of the Local Government Elections scheduled for next year.
He said that once the DA is in power, they will do away with corruption.
He said corruption impacted negatively on issues of service delivery.
Maimane’s visit in the province comes at the time where members of the South African Communist Party (SACP) started their Red October Campaign, which also focused on the fight against corruption.
